To succeed and sustain in today’s VUCA environment, young leaders will have to develop and grow their fundamental personal qualities in three areas: Strength, Shape, and Sensitivity. In terms of Strength, young leaders have to understand, manage, and express their own emotions effectively; and to build up their stamina even in face of challenging situations. Regarding Shape, young leaders should think and act with openness and yet a critical lens to new and creative problem-solving approaches in the digital era. Concerning Sensitivity, young leaders will need to connect with others and the community with an appreciation of diversity and inclusiveness.
