Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale

Description

The MAAS is a 15-item scale designed to assess a core characteristic of dispositional mindfulness, namely, open or receptive awareness of and attention to what is taking place in the present. The scale is developed by Dr. Brown, K.W. and Dr. Ryan, R.M. in early 2000. Written permission to use MAAS and to translate into Chinese were sought with Dr. Brown in 2016.
